Control panels can be made small, as there will be no requirements for controller mounting space.
There will be more space to be utilized, by having control panel minimized.
Compatible against a wide usage, having 2 variation on models available for each Slider type and Rod type.

Compatible against 3 connective methods, which are「Conventional Method」・「PIO Converter Method」・「Quick Teach Method」

(1)Direct control through PIO/SIO from host devices can be performed similarly as of the conventional ERC2.

(2)Pulse line control is enabled through line driver method.

Controller function on ERC3 series is upgradable by connecting to a PIO converter.

(1)Maximum positioning number increases from 16 to 512 points.

(2)Originations will be no more a requirement as ERC3 encoder can be made into a simplified absolute.

(3)Driving source blocking relay can be selected from built-in / outer equipped type(CVG).

(4)Calendar functions are usable. This is convenient for checking error occurrence time and alarm analysis.

(5)Equipped with ERC3 brake releasing switch.

(6)Each simplified ERC3 status can be viewed through the status LED mounted in front panel of PIO converter.

By connect to Quick Teach, it will make the test run easier by using button or knob on operation panel even there is no signal from PLC or electric supply to ERC3.

(1)Power supplies are enabled from Quich Teach.

(2)Speed, acceleration and position can be changed.

(3)DC24V-AC100/200V compatible power source.

Note2: There are some cases where the speed / load capacity does not reach the above stated maximum value whenever a trail operation is performed by power supplies from Quick Teach. (Please inquire for further information)
(※1)There are some cases where it does not reach the maximum speed whenever the stroke is short. If the stroke gets long, the maximum speed drops from the danger rotating number effect. Please refer to the specification pages of each models for further details.
(※2)Maximum load capacity is the value when it operates under the rated acceleration. Maximum load capacity drops whenever the acceleration increase. Please refer to the acceleration-load capacity chart in the catalogue P.26 for further details.
